Aerogel Blanket is a flexible, blanket-like composite material made from aerogel, a highly porous and lightweight substance. Aerogel is typically composed of silica, carbon, or other metal oxides and is known for its extremely low density and very low thermal conductivity. The aerogel mat takes advantage of the unique properties of aerogel while incorporating a fibrous structure, making it more adaptable and easier to handle in various applications.

Thermal Insulation PerformanceLow Thermal Conductivity: Aerogel blankets exhibit extremely low thermal conductivity, typically ranging from 0.013 to 0.017 W/m·K. This makes them some of the best thermal insulators available.LightweightTheir low density minimizes added weight in systems where weight is a critical factor, such as in aerospace, automotive, and marine industries.FlexibilityAerogel blankets are designed to be flexible and conform to various shapes and surfaces.
